Nnamdi Kanu's case,"Kuje Prison's Controller, Others to Lose Job Soon" [Get details]

News making round in the Presidency has it that the controller of Kuje Prison and some of its officials may lose their job soon.

This came as a result of Nnamdi Kanu Sponsoring this year Kuje prison football competition.

The Source said: “Nnamdi Kanu is standing trial for treason at the federal high court. The controller should have thought about that. He knows what a treasonable offence is; he could be in deep mess. I can’t say what punishment will be given, but something will be done”.

Yesterday, Kanu declared The Kuje Prison 2016 Championship Competition opened at the June prisons in FCT where he is been remanded.

Declaring the competition open, Nnamdi Kanu said that his main purpose for sponsoring the competition this year was for inmates to have freedom and relate with one another.

The competition was to foster peace and co-existence among the inmates and the prison officers.
